St. Martin 4-H Celebrates 100 Years
St. Martin Parish 4-H members, families, leaders, honorees and supporters of the 4-H program gathered on May 13, 2008 to honor newly named parish Hall of Fame nominees and to commemorate the centennial existence of this youth program. Nominees to the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame for St. Martin Parish were Conrad Gauthier, Charles A. Fuselier and Sydnie Mae Durand.

Celebrate 100 years of 4-H in Louisiana throughout 2008 with Lafourche Parish. Each month the centennial celebration is incorporated in special activities throughout the parish with an Alumni Reunion set for April 19 at the Raceland Fair Building from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Come celebrate 100 years with us!!!

Natchitoches Parish kicked off its 4-H Centennial Celebration during the 81st Annual Natchitoches Christmas Festival and Festival of Lights.Over 100,000 visitors witnessed parish 4-Her’s decked out in green and wearing the famous clover, tossing everything from green candy to cups to t-shirts and hats, all which bared the 4-H clover and centennial logo.The Natchitoches Christmas Festival is one of the oldest community-based holiday celebrations in the nation.
